Dr. Nese Yuksel

Professor, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Alberta

Dr. Yuksel’s research program focuses on clinical health research involving innovative approaches to enhance quality of care in women’s health, including menopause, sexual and reproductive health (SRH) and osteoporosis. She is a NAMS Certified Menopause Practitioner.

Katherine Babyn

Previous Masters Student, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Alberta; currently Medical Student at University of Alberta

Babyn’s research is in the area of pharmacy practice, with an interest in cannabis use for medical purposes related to women’s health. Our research team is exploring the experiences and perspectives of women using cannabis in menopause.

Emma Bedard

Masters Student, Faculty of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, University of Alberta

Emma’s studies focus on long-acting contraception and how healthcare providers can support women’s access to contraception. She is a pharmacist and spends her free time crafting and making baked goods.

Dr. Tasneem Siyam

Pharmacist, researcher clinician

Tasneem’s scholarly work is focused on contributing to the field of developing knowledge translation tools that will aid patients and clinicians including pharmacists engage in shared decision-making in clinical domains, such as women’s health, travel health, mental health and diabetes. Tasneem is also a certified diabetes and travel health educator since 2016.
